JAIME CONTRERAS
My name is Jaime Contreras. A son of Mexican immigrants, born and raised here in Ogden. I grew up in Mexico as well which is where I learned to love street art. Muralism is strong and greatly appreciated there and I started to feel like I could work on bigger and more impactful projects than normal art/graffiti. After graduating from Ben Lomond HS, I began working on graphic design work and attended Weber State University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. I have recently founded a Non-Profit Organization named "Los Dreamers Inc." where we aid DACA/Undocumented students with a scholarship called the "Dreamers Award". We fundraise through t-shirt/face mask/sticker sales on our social media and It's great to see the community of Ogden support each other through the award.
